40"x30" Acrylic on Canvas
This beautiful, full of color, "Fall" piece brings the viewer into a full spectrum of color sensory as you're taken from the flow of the waterfall, following the path in the foreground, surrounded by the fallen leaves of the season. Named "Waiting for Winter", after the piece was completed, because of the surprise image that appeared to the artist, which is an eye in the stone in the lower left portion of the painting. Others have told the artist of the many other images they see within the painting, these are all part of the mystery of art - not artist intended, but planned by God. The story for this piece is, the old stone had awakened from his slumber thinking it was winter, but upon gazing at the many colors of fall, decided to stay awake to enjoy the view, waiting for winter.
